The news conferences will be conducted in the Team Defensive Meeting Room, located in the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex at L&N Stadium. The weekly news conferences will begin on Monday, Aug. 28 and continue on Mondays thereafter. News conferences conclude on Nov. 20. News conferences aren’t scheduled during Louisville’s bye weeks. Access and download weekly game notes, quotes, statistics, media guides for the conference and each of its 14 members throughout the season. Credentials & Scouting Passes Credentials for Louisville home games are is- sued to working media only and should be re- quested as early as possible. Season credential privileges may be granted to daily newspapers, magazines, radio stations and television stations that cover the Louisville football program on a regular basis – i.e., weekly news conferences and all home games. Creden- tials are granted at the discretion of Louisville Athletics and additional requests and affiliations are considered on an individual basis. Due to space constraints, credentials will be limited to working media only. If media creden- tials are not picked up in advance, they will be available for pickup at the West Ticket Booth located outside Gate 7 of L&N Stadium. Media should enter through Gate 8 to gain access to el- evators for the press box. No credentials will be mailed. Requests for season passes should be submitted no later than July 31. Requests for single games should be made as far in advance as possible. NFL scouts can receive credentials and access to the pressbox. The written (or e-mail) request must be made at least one week in advance to Stephen Williams (s.williams@louisville.edu). Seats are assigned on a space available basis, and access to the field during team warm-ups is per- mitted. Photographers All photographers must wear a sideline pass and a vest to be allowed on the playing field. NCAA rules limit shooting to outside the re- straining line around the field and outside des- ignated team areas (between the 30-yard lines). Vests can be acquired before the game, on the field or in the press box during the game. Press Box Services Packets with pre-game information will be dis- tributed prior to kickoff. Play-by-play, complete halftime and final statistics, coaches and player quote sheets are all regular services on game day. A fax service is also provided upon request. Monitors with updated statistics are available throughout the press level and in booths for elec- tronic media. In addition, television monitors are also part of the fixtures in both home and visiting radio booths. Press Box There are three levels to the L&N Stadium Press Box: (3-4) Suites; (5) Press Level, AD Suites, President’s Suite, Photo Deck, Visiting and Home Coaches Booth, Visiting and Home Radio Booths, Replay Booth, Television Booth. Postgame Policy Post-game interviews at L&N Stadium are held in the meeting rooms of the football complex. The meeting room entrance is located to the right of the walkway leading the teams to the field. After meeting with the team, head coach Jeff Brohm will be brought into the Team Defensive Meeting Room. Additional players upon request will also be brought into the team meeting room. The visiting coach and players are available in a room outside their locker room. Please check with the visiting SID for more details. Typed post-game quotes from both head coaches and players will be available in the press box following the game. For both home and away games, the Louisville locker and training rooms are closed to the me- dia. Football SID Rocco Gasparro will survey the media in the fourth quarter for player requests. Media Will Call Approved media or photo credentials can be obtained at the Media Will Call Booth at Gate 7 of L&N Stadium. Media Will Call opens ap- proximately two hours prior to kickoff and will close about 30 minutes after kickoff. Wireless Internet L&N Stadium press box offers free wireless internet service to media members. Instruc- tions will be provided to the media on game day. For further questions, contact the UofL Sports Information staff on the upper level of the press box. Press Parking Press parking is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis as available. Radio All University of Louisville football games will be broadcast live on the Cardinal Football Network developed by Learfield Sports Market- ing. UofL and Learfield’s Louisville Sports Prop- erties, the multimedia rightsholder, inked a new deal with Louisville First Radio Group to be the flagship for the Louisville Cardinals Radio Net- work. Under the agreement, ESPN 93.9 FM ‘The Ville’ and WGTK 970 AM will carry all Cardi- nal sports programming. Paul Rogers will serve as the play-play voice for the 32nd year, while former Cardinal Craig Swabek serves as color analyst and Jody Demling returns as the sideline reporter.
