CreditsT he objective for every college baseball team is to reach Omaha, Nebraska and compete on the biggest stage in the game at the College World Series. The Louisville Cardinals have attained that goal five times in the last 16 full seasons, including four appearances in the last 10. Since first appearing at the CWS in 2007 at Rosenblatt Stadium, Omaha has served as an integral part of the baseball culture at Louisville and that will continue into the 2024 season. 4 University of Louisville n gocards.comgocards.com n University of Louisville 5 Road to Omaha Goes Through Louisville During each of the Cardinals’ five CWS seasons, they hosted NCAA Championship games at Jim Patterson Stadium. Overall, Louisville has hosted 15 different rounds of NCAA postseason baseball in the last 16 full seasons – NCAA Super Regionals in 2007, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019 and NCAA Regionals in 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022. The Cardinals are 37-10 all-time in postseason home games. 6 University of Louisville n gocards.comgocards.com n University of Louisville 7 Next >
