The Louisville Cardinals have attained that goal five times in the last 15 full seasons, including four appearances in the last nine. Since first appearing at the CWS in 2007 at Rosenblatt Stadium, Omaha has served as an integral part of the baseball culture at Louisville and that will continue into the 2023 season. Overall, Louisville has hosted 15 different rounds of NCAA postseason baseball in the last 15 full seasons – NCAA Super Regionals in 2007, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019 and NCAA Regionals in 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022.
