The SEC Network will televise the 6:30 p.m. CT contest. n Auburn is celebrating its annual Military Appreciation Day; recognitions include Auburn’s 2022 gymnastics team that advanced to the NCAA Final Four and the 2022 winner of the Jack Meagher Award team orthopaedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. SERIES HISTORY n Texas A&M leads the all-time series with Auburn 7-5. The teams first met in Dallas in 1911, a 16-0 Texas A&M victory, and also played in Dallas at the end of the 1985 season, when the two schools met in the 1986 Cotton Bowl on New Year’s Day (a 36-16 Texas A&M win). n Prior to the 2018 Auburn 28-24 win at Jordan-Hare Stadi- um, the visiting team had won every matchup since Texas A&M joined the SEC in 2012. n In all-time SEC play, Auburn holds a 334-267-18 mark back through 1933. In SEC games played in Auburn, the Tigers are 143-66-6 all-time. IN NOVEMBER n Auburn is 243-191-20 (.5566) all-time in November. Au- burn’s November home record is 105-40-5 (.719). KICKOFF COVERAGE n Robby Ashford rushed for 108 yards and two scores at Mississippi State, the first Auburn quarterback to rush for 100 yards in a game since Nick Marshall at Mississippi State in 2014. n Ashford also ranks fourth in the SEC and 13th nationally in passing yards per completion, averaging 14.02 yards per reception. n Auburn is second in the SEC in net punting at 42.45 yards, ranking seventh nationally. Punter Oscar Chapman ranks third in the SEC in average (44.2) this season. n Senior linebacker Owen Pappoe now has 235 career tackles to his credit, 12th-best among all Auburn players since 2000; his career high came with 16 stops at Ole Miss this season. Pappoe is one of 15 semifinalists for the Butkus Award. n John Samuel Shenker has tied T.D. Moultry’s school record appearing in 59 career games. n Derick Hall is on the mid-season watch list for the Rotary Lombardi Award; for the season, Hall has recorded 54 tack- les, 10.0 TFL, 6.0 sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and six QB hurries. n Placekicker Anders Carlson is the only FBS player select- ed for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team for efforts in community service and also as a finalist for the National Football Foundation’s Campbell Trophy, awarded to the top student-athlete in college football. n Tank Bigsby has cracked the Auburn career rushing top 10. The junior ranks 10th with 2,614 career yards and 23 career rushing scores. The Aggies look to build on their 7-5 series advantage against Auburn and have claimed each of the last two meetings. n Junior RB Devon Achane ranks third in the SEC averaging 98.6 rushing yards per game and 887 total yards on the ground. He is the only Power 5 player to score as a rusher, receiver and kickoff returner this season. n Achane scored a career-best three touchdowns against Florida, all coming in the first half. It marked the seventh multi-TD game of his career and the second time he has scored as a rusher and receiver in the same game. n Achane ranks fifth in the country and leads the way in the SEC averaging 155.0 all-purpose yards per game. His 1,395 total yards on the season rank him fourth nationally. n Freshman WR Evan Stewart ranks second overall in the SEC averaging 74.8 receiving yards on the season. His 598 receiving yards so far this season also lead all conference freshmen and rank fifth overall. n The A&M defense boasts the No. 11 passing defense (173.6 y/g) in the country, also limiting its opponents to just 6.1 yards per pass, which is good for ninth nationally. n The Aggies have forced 10 fumbles on the season, which ties them for 16th in the country. A&M’s nine fumble recov- eries are the 14th-most in the nation. n Freshman DBs Jacoby Mathews and Jarred Kerr led the Aggie defense against Florida, blowing away their previous career highs in tackles after finishing with 15 and 10, respec- tively. QUICK HITS n For the second time this season, the Aggies had a 100-yard rusher and receiver in the same game as junior RB Devon Achane and freshman Evan Stewart eclipsed the century mark against Florida. Achane tallied 122 yards and a pair of scores on the ground for his fourth 100-yard game of the season, while Stewart added 120 yards through the air on eight catches. n Freshman TE Donovan Green has proven himself to be a reliable target for all three Aggie QBs this season, catching 81-percent of the passes that come his way. Against Ole Miss he secured all four targets and finished with 48 yards on the day, just 2 yards off his career high. n Senior DB Demani Richardson has put his veteran leader- ship and versatility on display this season, leading the team with 40 career starts. He ranks 15th in the SEC with 33 solo tackles on the season. n Sophomore DB Jardin Gilbert has been a key contributor on the Aggie defense in his first year as a starter. After mak- ing multiple tackles in a game just three times last season, Gilbert has tallied at least five takedowns in all eight games he has played in this season, leading the team with 53 total tackles on the year. n A&M is fifth in the SEC with 36 pass breakups on the year. Sophomore DB Tyreek Chappell ranks eighth in the league with six breakups on the season. n Junior RB/RS Devon Achane holds the No. 5 spot nation- ally and is second in the league with 28.4 yards per kickoff return. As a team, the Aggies rank 20th in the country with a 22.6 yards-per-return average. n Achane and sophomore PLK Randy Bond rank as some of the top scorers in the SEC. Achane’s 10 TDs on the year put him in a tie for fourth and his 6.7 points per game average ranks among the top 10 in the league. Bond’s 6.3 ppg aver- age is good for 15th overall.
