She’s played a big role in on bars and has 30+ starts in the event over her career. Q: Looking back on your time as an Auburn gymnast, what is one memory that stands out? When I think back on all the memories I’ve created at Auburn, the ones that stand out are ones that are filled with love, support, and celebration. I will never forget when I was the first competitor to compete on the first event at the Final Four competition. I remember being anxious about the pressure getting to me, but then I looked up in the stands and saw my whole family smiling at me. My sister was jumping up and down, my dad was nodding his head silently ensuring me that I got this, and I could feel my mom’s pride in me pouring out with her gentle smile. Then I looked at my teammates, and they were screaming their heads off from cheering so loud. My heart was instantly filled with gratitiude and after I landed my dismount, I remember smiling from ear to ear and feeling so much joy and content. Q: What is the next step for you after Auburn? After graduating Auburn, I will be attending PA school at the University of Oklahoma at Oklahoma City to become a Physician Assistant. I will pursue my dream of practicing medicine where I can help others and save lives. Q: What would you like to tell young gymnasts hoping to compete in college? To NEVER stop working hard. A good work ethic will take you farther in life than anything else. Q: Your favorite Jeff Graba quote? My favorite Jeff Graba quote is, “We will rotate at Dentist Time: tooth hurty!” CATCHING UP WITH: Adeline SabadosNext >
