The 2024 senior class has put together an overall record of 44-9 across the last four seasons and includes a group of fifth-year players who achieved a 57-9 career mark. The five-year span includes three SEC Championships and three appearances in the College Football Playoff, highlighted by the 2020 national championship. Honored as part of Saturday’s pregame ceremonies will be: James Burnip (P), MJ Chirgwin (WR), CJ Dippre (TE), Kaleb Fleming (WR), Kneeland Hibbett (SN), Justin Jefferson (LB), Jah-Marien Latham (DL), Alijah May (DB), Coby McNeal (TE), Malachi Moore (DB), Graham Nicholson (PK), Robbie Ouzts (TE), Que Robinson (LB), Graham Roten (OL), Reid Schuback (PK), Nick Serpa (P), Tim Smith (DL), Adam Thorsland (TE) and Kade Wehby (LS). SABAN FIELD AT BRYANT-DENNY STADIUM n Alabama boasts the best all-time home winning percentage in the FBS with an .842 (301-55-3) mark at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium since its opening in 1929. Boise State’s Albertsons Stadium (289-63), which opened in 1970, is the next closest in second at .821. BETTER IN NOVEMBER n For his career, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer is 34-3 (.918) in the month of November. The Crimson Tide has gone 2-1 to start the month, including a 42-13 victory at then-No. 15/14/13 LSU on Nov. 9 followed by a 52-7 win over Mercer on Nov. 16. NOT SINCE 1983 n Head coach Kalen DeBoer has produced an 8-3 record in his inaugural season at the Capstone. DeBoer’s eight wins are tied for the second-most by a first-year head coach at Alabama, sharing the feat with Ray Perkins (1983) and Red Drew (1947). DeBoer sits one win shy of tying Frank Thomas’ nine victories in 1931 for the most by a first-year head coach in program history. PASSING TOUGH TESTS n Entering Week 14, Alabama stands as one of four teams in the nation with at least six wins over opponents with a winning record. The Crimson Tide are also one of just nine teams to produce three wins over AP-ranked competition at the time of the game. Alabama has recorded three wins over the current AP top 25, tying three other programs for the most such wins in the FBS. ALABAMA IN THE AP POLL n Alabama’s No. 13 ranking in the Week 14 edition of the Associated Press Poll marked the 275th consecutive week that the Crimson Tide has appeared in the poll. That streak is the longest active streak in college football. The 275 weeks more than doubles second-place Georgia with the Bulldogs appearing in the poll for 128 consecutive weeks. Alabama’s 275 straight weeks tops the Crimson Tide’s previous program-long streak of 105 consecutive weeks under head coach Gene Stallings in the mid-1990s.
