The Crimson Tide is 102- 8 (.927) at Bryant-Denny Stadium during Nick Saban’s ten- ure, including a 98-5 (.952) record since the 2008 season. n Alabama’s No. 8 ranking in the Nov. 20 release of the Asso- ciated Press Poll marked the 242nd consecutive week that the Crimson Tide has appeared in the poll. That streak is the longest active streak in college football. n Alabama recorded its 90th non-offensive touchdown of the Nick Saban era at then-No. 6/8 Tennessee on Oct. 15 when Dallas Turner picked up a fumble and returned it from 11 yards out. Since Saban’s arrival in 2007, no team in college football has totaled more non-offensive scores than the Crimson Tide. n In 12 games against ranked teams, Bryce Young has posted an NCAA passer rating of 152.79 with an NFL rating of 106.33. He has thrown for 3,769 yards in 12 games for an average 314.1 yards per game with 30 touchdowns and six interceptions. Young is averaging 8.3 yards per attempt in the 12 games while completing 63.5 percent of his passes (287-452). n Junior quarterback Bryce Young has thrown for at least one touchdown pass across all 25 games that he has started for the Crimson Tide. Young’s touchdown pass to Jermaine Burton in the second quarter of last weekend’s matchup with Austin Peay pushed him past Tua Tagovailoa for the most consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass in Alabama history. n Junior Jahmyr Gibbs has contributed a team-high 1,312 all-purpose yards through his 10 games played. Gibbs is av- eraging 131.2 yards per game to rank fourth in the SEC and 18th nationally while his 1,312 total yards are the 25th-most by any single player in the country, despite his absence in the Austin Peay contest. n Alabama is third in the SEC and seventh nationally in yards per rush at 5.61. The Crimson Tide has totaled 2,194 rushing yards on 391 carries for the season and is averaging 199.5 rushing yards per game. n Alabama has eclipsed the 600-yard marker 14 times in pro- gram history, including seven times dating back to the start of the 2020 season. n Alabama has scored 40-or-more points in 45 of the last 67 games. Forty-five leads the nation for the most total games of 40-plus points since the start of the 2018 season. n The Crimson Tide has won 50 of its last 51 games when scoring a touchdown on the first offensive possession of the game. The most recent instance came against Austin Peay on Nov. 19 when Jase McClellan found the end zone from one-yard out to open the day’s scoring. n According to Pro Football Focus, Will Anderson Jr. has been one of this season’s top defensive performers. The site has credited him with being part of 12 sacks to lead all Power 5 players. He is also second among all P5 defenders in total quarterback pressures (sacks, hits, pressures) with 50 while ranking eighth in quarterback hurries (29) and quarterback hits (10). n The Crimson Tide defense limited Vanderbilt to a sea- son-low 14 yards rushing in their Sept. 24 matchup and has kept seven of 11 total opponents below 80 yards in 2022. n The Tide ranks second in the SEC and 12th nationally in third-down conversion defense at 29.5 percent (49-of-166). n Alabama has forced at least one turnover in 99 of the last 111 contests (dating back to the start of the 2015 season). During the current run, Alabama has forced 173 turnovers (111 interceptions, 62 fumbles) and returned 40 of those miscues for touchdowns. n Since head coach Nick Saban arrived in 2007, Alabama has recorded 26 shutouts, including 12 in Southeastern Confer- ence play. With its 34-0 win over Austin Peay on Nov. 19, the Crimson Tide defense has 12 more shutouts than its nearest competitor over that span.
